Guess Watches
Social Rebranding 2019
This iconic fashion brand has been making waves in the industry since it’s birth in the 80s and in 2019 we’ve set out to make Guess Watches a standout brand in the world of fashion accessories. Consumer’s social media feeds are clustered with countless ads and branded content so brands like Guess Watches need to find a way to break through the “sea of sameness” and grab the attention of their customers. We plan to do this by redefining their presence on social media with a consistent look and feel, stronger brand awareness and rooting content in user interest data.
The GUESS consumer’s life has many facets, and many minutes that make up their life. That’s why our content themes will use the concept of “hours” to show three unique sides of the GUESS consumer: their flirty side, their edgy side, and their vibrant side. To bring these “hours” to life, all of the content we’ll create will fall under each one of the flirty, edgy, and vibrant content themes. Because a consistent narrative is a brand’s best friend when it comes to building awareness.
To take this a step further, we’ll directly connect our content to the target’s highest indexing interests: travel, food, romance/relationships, shopping/fashion, and art/photography. By rooting our strategy in interest points, we can optimize engagement while establishing a clear brand voice through consistent themes.

Guess Watches
content shoot 2019
This shoot was all about showing off Guess’s bold Black & Gold watch line. We strategically styled each shot to grab consumer’s attention, showcase features of each watch and to reinforce the Guess Watch brand. These assets were among the highest performing organic content on their Instagram channel in 2019.
For this project, my team and I created 21 pieces of original content to support Guess Watches’s presence on Instagram. From start to finish, I was involved in every aspect of this project. We developed and planned a month-long story about the holiday season; the feeling of shopping for gifts, getting in the holiday spirit, hosting the perfect holiday party and celebrating the New Year. In addition to the overall concept, I gathered all props and acted as the on set prop stylist as well as directed the shoot. I finished off the project with photo editing and composing each image for Instagram.
